About Country Food Trails

Country Food Trails offers thoughtfully planned, intimate food and wine tours for down-to-earth foodies.

 Locally grown
 Locally made
 Locally farmed
 Locally produced

I can’t wait to share Orange and the Central West  with you. But first, here’s the story of what led me here.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, my successful international tour business, Red Door Tours, came to a sudden standstill. I’ll confess, my heart broke a little at the thought of putting my beloved textile safaris of India and Morocco on hold. With many returning guests already planning their next exotic adventure with me, it was a devastating blow to us all.

I’m grateful to live in my beautiful hometown of Orange, NSW. So I seized the opportunity to start a business that would allow me to share my region with food and wine-loving visitors.

I’m passionate about showcasing the incredible food, wine, history, and natural beauty we have to offer.

That’s how Country Food Trails was born. I consider myself the poster girl for pivoting in 2020 … obviously I have a sense of humour!

Sure, you can google, ‘What to do in Orange’ but you won’t get the knowledge and local contacts I can offer. I’ve uncovered unique experiences to create a range of unforgettable tours.

If you’re looking for a flexible, fun and down-to-earth tour of Orange, I’m the guide for you.

Join me for a glass of local wine, a picnic in the vineyard or a glimpse into the fascinating history of the region.

A local business worth supporting

Nicole gave us a fantastic historic tour of Orange complete with Indigenous flavour. Would definitely recommend as a great way to see Orange on foot and learn about its history and all the amazing local produce and producers. A local business worth supporting

Highly recommend

Great overview of the history and buildings of early Orange. Our guide Nicole was fantastic and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend the heritage tour and will definitely do another tour with Nicole when in the region again.
